![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) zoep!! Last weekend of masterofapath doing NaNoWriMo, so I got quite a lot done (as did Roomba!). Living Room is clean and slightly Christmassy, washed and reproofed a few coats, even got mostly up-to-date on pesky hand-wash-only laundry tasks and wrote most of my Christmas Cards. Entirely failed to find nice cosy winter boots though - Woking shoe shops only sell them for folks whose feet are the shape of a very wide brick, it seems... |

Fluff!!!!
More fibre madness this weekend - see top of knitting pics set for pics of stuff I made this weekend. Lots of very fluffy colourful spinning batts prepared, and a hat and a scarf finished. |

"Nation"!
Weekend was fun, parents visited as Mum went to see the play of Pratchett's "Nation" on Saturday in London. Brilliant fun and fantastic stage / scenery / puppets. All the more amusing that afterwards I found that the main sound engineer was someone I went to primary school with / used to live opposite. Odd. Other amusement for the day (or not) was posh business man on train, booking his posh haircut appointment by phone, but too important to take his huge stack of abandoned Saturday paper (or it's plastic wrapper) with him. Lazy and rude! I binned the plastic and another passenger took the paper away to recycle. |

Weekend
More fun weekend things done! Dragged countesszero along to spinners' guild open day and taught her to spin. And in the evening a group of us went to see "Zombieland" - a great film!! Saunday afternoon was spent watching a lot of "Fringe" and a bit of "Avatar" at forbiddendanish's and eating tasty Chinese fud. AND I have finished grey alpaca hoodie! With very little yarn left over from entire fleece - pics to follow. |

Bristol
A quiet weekend, but a nice one! Decided we hadn't properly visited my family for a bit so spent a weekend in Bristol. (We'd passed through on the way to/from holidays, but that wasn't really the same...) Visited my brother's new house, tidied a load more of my stuff up; 3 crates of dolls, trolls, toys etc brought back, much more stuff to go to charity and such. Also re-watched Ghibli animation "Porco Russo" - had almost forgotten how good it is! Finished off trip visiting some more relatives on the way home, nice to catch up with a lively bunch of octogenarians (who seemed happy to start conversations about things such as gardening using a flamethrower). In addition - I am very close to completing my grey alpaca garment, I have the very last batch prepared to spin, and the sack containing the raw material is officially empty. Just have to hope I have enought to finish it... |
